From Elopement to Expecting: A Point Lookout Sunset Session
Some couples you just keep photographing — and I'm so glad this is one of them.
Not long ago, I was on a Long Island beach watching these two say "I do" during their elopement. Just the two of them, their closest friends and family, the ocean, and a whole lot of happy tears. So when they reached out to tell me they were expecting, and wanted to do a maternity session at Point Lookout, it felt like the perfect way to come full circle.
We hit the beach right just before sunset — my favorite time to shoot, hands down. The light was soft, the tide was calm, and this time there were three of them on the sand instead of two. Watching them lean into this next chapter together, with the same ease and joy I remembered from their wedding day, was such a gift to capture.
This one's easily one of my favorite sessions of the season so far. Congratulations to this beautiful little family — I cannot wait to meet your little one.
