I'm a Long Island–based wedding, portrait, and event photographer. I live in Nassau County with my husband Matt and our two boys, Jack and Henry.

A little about me: I'm a first-generation American, half Dominican and half Egyptian. My parents met in a Key Food supermarket shortly after immigrating to New York — barely speaking English — and 45 years later, they're still together. That story has always reminded me that the most meaningful moments are often the unplanned ones. It's a big part of why I shoot the way I do.

I spent most of my life working in restaurants, starting at 12 years old alongside my dad. After my first son was born, I chose to stay home — and once both boys were in school full-time, I knew it was time to do something for myself. I finished my photography training and started Nikki Leigh Photography. It's been the best decision I've ever made.

I serve clients across Long Island, New York City, Northern New Jersey, and the Hudson Valley — for weddings, engagements, bridal showers, baby showers, birthday parties, proposals, and portrait sessions.
